RESIDENTIAL SERVICES

Decking Cleaning

Routine deck cleaning is important for the long-term well-being of the deck. Over time, mold, algae and dirt accumulate on your wood deck’s surface as sealant breaks down. Pressure washing gives your wood deck a serious clean, while a fresh coat of sealant protects your deck from water damage and wear. But, like most residential exterior cleaning, if done incorrectly, deck pressure washing can destroy the surface, likely resulting in permanent damage.

Cleaning wood surfaces needs special care to prevent damage. When it comes to wood decks some customers just want to professionally clean the surface of the deck while maintaining its painted or stained finish. Others want the finish entirely removed to prepare the wood for new paint or for staining. Direct Pressure can help with both.

Why Wood Decks Need Cleaning?

A natural wood deck that turns grey with oxidation can look almost like-new again while decks with faded stain usually need a bit more attention. We suggest that you paint or stain your freshly restored deck immediately after the cleaning.

Cleaning wood decks can take a long time because of the additional care needed but you can be sure that our cleaning crew will use low pressure and the right detergents to bring back that desired finish.

Driveway Cleaning

Restoring the look of your driveway isn’t just about removing all of the dirt and mud that has accumulated. As we clean your driveway, we also make sure not to damage the concrete. A typical problem with DIY driveway cleaning.

Our team of trained experts knows just how fragile concrete cleaning is so we only use the right detergents, water temperature and water pressure for the job. Missing out on any of these things can be harmful and we want to be sure everyone is safe: you, your family, your pets, the landscape and the environment as a whole. Don’t gamble on an inexperienced service and end up with damaged driveway.

Patio Cleaning

Pressure washing a wood, brick or concrete patio isn’t as simple as most homeowners assume. Low-pressure garden hoses cannot properly wash away silt, dirt and mud that settles into the cracks and pores of patio materials. Cleaning a patio with a pressure washer can also result in chipped patio paint, a damaged lawn or garden and dirty water splattered onto your home’s exterior! Patio cleaning is better left for a professional home exterior cleaning service.

Wood Patio Cleaning

For wood patio cleaning we use the same professional equipment to power wash patios that we use on a home, but we use a different system. “Softwashing” is like regular power washing except the water pressure is kept much lower. This is necessary to protect the paint, stains and finishes. Soft washing a patio also keep the wood from splintering which can lead to structural problems. We have knowledge and years of experience to utilize the exact pressure needed. If the patio has considerable damage then we will use the absolute lowest pressure necessary to get the job done without further damage.

Brick Patio Cleaning

Brick patios are usually more difficult to pressure clean than wood or concrete. Brick patio tiles all have raised, textured areas along the top of their surface. These sections make successful brick patio cleaning challenging, even if using a pressure washer.

Our patio cleaning process starts with solvents that can easily reach those unseen areas of dirt and grime, dissolving even the thickest mud and ground-in debris. These solvents will dissolve moss, mold and algae that is growing in between those cracks and crevices! We then use special brushes for cleaning brick patios, to push away all the thick and unsightly dirt and grime.

Concrete Patio Cleaning

Pressure cleaning a concrete patio does more than make the patio look better. Organic dirt, dust, grime and other debris that gets stuck in the cracks and crevices of concrete might get blown into the lawn and ruin its appearance as well. Cleaning a concrete patio can also remove moss and mildew, mold and algae. When this type of debris gets damp, it becomes slick and very slippery, and creates a hazard for anyone that’s walking on the patio!

Don’t count on a garden hose or DIY online videos that promise to show homeowners how to safely clean a patio, but leave this work to the professionals.
